1. Mining Superintendent (Reference No. 810-811)

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
  • Have 7-10 year(s) of extensive working experience and proven skills in mine planning, in particular involving open cut coal mining operations and long term strategic analysis.
  • At least 3 years at a Senior level within a similar mining environment.
  • There are 2 available positions. One with no roster, another one with 5weeks/3weeks roster.
  • A good understanding of mining law and industrial relations
  • Good Analytical, Problem Solving, Leadership, Negotiation and Influencing skils
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Knowledge and exposure to a range of strategic planning techniques and the tools to translate those ideas into reality.
  • High level of mine planning, spread sheet applications, word processing and presentation experience
  • Strong people management skill, ideally with training and supervision. Ability to mentor guide and train site personnel
  • Good grasp of engineering and economic principles. Experience with budgeting, financial analysis and cost control will be advantageous
